Hello, I’m George Ch. Papadopoulis, Academic Director of The GLOBAL .I’d like to give you a very brief introduction to the , and encourage you to read on to find out more about the courses and facilities on offer to you. If you don’t know the town of Heraklion, I can assure you that it’s in a beautiful part of the world, with excellent transport links to the rest of the Greece and Europe. Having grown up in this area I have great admiration and affection for its people and institutions. You will find that Crete-folk are warm and welcoming.
The itself has excellent facilities and support for students and top class teaching. Our students consistently tell us that Heraklion and GLOBAL is a great place to live and learn.
Each year, since becoming Academic Director of the , I have had the honour and pleasure of attending the graduation ceremonies. During these events I have been deeply impressed by the abilities and maturity of our graduates. They have told me how much they have enjoyed studying at GLOBAL. As our graduates leave us to go out into the world of work, or further study, they have fond memories of their time at GLOBAL.
